WebStaff is designed to give TeleStaff end-users further access to their personal calendar and related activities from any browser. WebStaff extends the reach of the TeleStaff system beyond the client workstation and the telephone to any computer with Internet access. WebStaff combines the visual benefits of the TeleStaff Client with the accessibility of the telephone to give TeleStaff users visual access to their calendar from any Internet computer. Further, WebStaff is simple to use because it mimics the TeleStaff Client workstation functions in an easy-to-use browser interface.

PDSI is happy to announce the release of WebStaff 2.0 with features for end-users and Administrators! This major release of WebStaff coincides with the release of TeleStaff 2.0 and includes more administrative features our customers have requested and an improved interface. With WebStaff 2.0, administrators can perform more of their daily activities from any Internet capable computer with a browser.

More than 100 TeleStaff customers also use WebStaff to provide their employees with even more TeleStaff access. And WebStaff is an ideal way to provide access to TeleStaff in the work environment to minimize client installations throughout the organization. If you can access a browser, you can access WebStaff...24 hours a day.

WebStaff users can:

  • View their personal calendar
  • Request work through the Available feature
  • Request/record work exceptions
  • Remove Availability and Exception work codes (if definition allows)
  • Receive notifications sent by the TeleStaff system
  • View and change select personal data including telephone numbers
  • View roster for any date
  • View detailed work history report over any date range
In addition, WebStaff 2.0 gives administrators the following capabilities:
  • Create vacancies based on your department's rules and guidelines
  • Fill vacancies via the Internet
  • Initiate the Auto Hire function
  • Approve requests from home!
  • Initiate the Automated Contact feature
