STAFFeasy™ 2.4.6 Offers a Variety of Enhancements and Updates Addressing Specific Workforce Needs for Customers

Irvine, CA. – March 7, 2007 - PDSI announces today the availability of STAFFeasy 2.4.6, the latest version of its Web-based scheduling and notification solution. The new version offers organizations several new capabilities within the Roster, Calendar and Project screens, as well increased flexibility in managing Work Offers, Staff Lists, Staffing and Auto Filling. The new features continue to build on successes of previous versions and reaffirm STAFFeasy as a powerful, single platform that can be used by all member levels within an organization offering a clear picture of events and projects, work assignments, available resources, project or event status, and communications.

This release is a direct result of customer feedback and requests for specific features and integrating them into the STAFFeasy solution. Some major Roster enhancements include the new ability to capture actual hours worked by staff on an event or project, which can now be exported to a spreadsheet. An additional new feature of the Roster includes generation of only one email notice to employees when position changes occur. Additionally, administrators now have a greater level of control over allocating hours and containing overtime costs through the system’s new ability to rank staff based on work offers, as well as assigned work. Also, bulk offers can now be created when running the auto-fill feature, especially beneficial for organizations that use offers and have a large number of vacant positions to fill. There are new sorting capabilities in the new version offering administrators greater flexibility in selecting staffing data to make comparisons, and ultimately better staffing decisions. Enhancements to the Calendar include the ability to filter events by organization by daily or weekly views, as well as weekly and monthly lists.
